Newbery Winner Kwame Alexander book launch…

Kwame Alexander is a poet, educator, and New York Times bestselling author of 21 books. He chose U of M to launch of his new book, Booked. Over 160 happy kids from community partner, Project Success, received books provided by the Red Balloon at cost furnished by the City of Lakes Rotary Club. View more photos »

Event highlight: Images of American Efforts to Modernize Korea

Please join us July 7 for an exhibit celebration for 유대감 (Fellowship): Images of American Efforts to Modernize Korea at Minneapolis Central Library. Lantern slides from the early twentieth century documented interactions between the Korean people and American missionaries who made it their life’s work to develop communities.

 

Sponsored by the University of Minnesota Libraries and the Korea Foundation in collaboration with Hennepin County Library/Minneapolis Central Library.
