The pithy, painful script review notes mined from the Guthrie Theater Archives are undoubtedly more interesting than the unsolicited scripts themselves! No Chekhovs but definitely a few chuckles.

A tasty treat…
…for the University Alums who gathered to sample the treasures of the archives. From speed-dating the collections to descending 80 feet underground to the storage caverns, it was a very filling evening!

Please join us July 7 for an exhibit celebration for 유대감 (Fellowship): Images of American Efforts to Modernize Korea at Minneapolis Central Library. Lantern slides from the early 20th century documented interactions between the Korean people and American missionaries who made it their life’s work to develop communities.
Sponsored by the University Libraries and the Korea Foundation in collaboration with Hennepin County Library.

Exhibit highlight: The Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes

Not everyone is perfect, including the world’s most famous consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes. This exhibition highlights some of Mr. Holmes’ mishaps, described by Dr. Watson and others, through art, artifacts, parodies, pastiches, and other “unofficial” adventures from the Sherlock Holmes Collections.
