Who has come to the United States & why?
To answer this hot topic in today’s national conversation, a partnership formed with immigration historians from across the country resulted #ImmigrationSyllabus, a website and educational resource to help the public understand the deep historical roots of today’s immigration debate. The initiative is led by Professor Erika Lee, Director of the U of M’s Immigration History Research Center, and the website was developed and is maintained by the Libraries. |

Nothing is as constant as change. And changes in government funding and administrative policy are not exempt. Join in the effort to capture and archive federally produced datasets to make sure they remain available. The DataRescue-Twin Cities project hosted by the Libraries invites you to participate in this vital, community-based effort on February 24 and 25, 2017. |
