Write on!
If you’ve ever experienced writer’s block, you know how frustrating it can be. That’s why National Novel Writing Month was created — to encourage "just get it out" by writing a 50,000 word first draft in exactly one month.
Among this year’s 306,080 writers, a dozen University faculty, staff, and students joined the Libraries’ Write-In held on four consecutive Fridays in Wilson Library. Perhaps they’ll be a fortunate as previous participant Sara Gruen, whose edited draft became "Water for Elephants."
